There’s something that’s been resting on my heart lately.
We live in a world where it’s easy to look like a believer.
We go to church.
We say the right things.
We follow traditions passed down from parents and grandparents.
And those things can be beautiful… they really can.
But they are not the same as knowing Jesus.
Somewhere along the way, faith can quietly become a routine—something we do rather than Someone we walk with.
And if we’re honest, it’s possible to do all the “right” things…
and still feel empty inside.
Because real faith isn’t about performance.
It’s about relationship.

He Wants Your Heart, Not Your Image
Jesus never asked us to pretend.
He didn’t come for polished, put-together people who have it all figured out.
He came for the weary. The searching. The honest.
He came for hearts.
You don’t have to impress Him.
You don’t have to clean yourself up first.
You don’t have to have perfect words.
You simply have to come.
Ask Him into your heart.
Talk to Him.
Cry out if you need to.
He wants you to.
⸻
It’s Okay to Need Him
There’s this quiet pressure sometimes to “have it all together” in faith.
But the truth is—
we were never meant to do this on our own.
You are not weak for needing Jesus.
You are not failing because you’re struggling.
That’s exactly where He meets you.
The moment you stop pretending…
is often the moment something real begins.
⸻
From Empty to Full
There’s a beautiful truth in Scripture:
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.”
— 2 Corinthians 8:9
This isn’t about material things.
It’s about something far deeper.
We can look full on the outside—
but feel completely empty within.
Jesus came to meet us in that emptiness.
To exchange our spiritual poverty for the richness of His grace, His presence, His love.
⸻
A Gentle Invitation
If you’ve been going through the motions…
If your faith feels more like a routine than a relationship…
If something inside you feels distant or unsure…
You’re not alone.
And you don’t have to pretend anymore.
Just come to Him—exactly as you are.
He’s not waiting for perfection.
He’s waiting for you.
